A wide variety of sporting and all-season recreational offerings are located within a 20 mile radius of The Guest Cottage. The Mad River Valley is resplendent with back country roads and trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and nordic skiing.

Sugarbush, Bolton Valley, and Stowe, all within commuting distance, provide a spectacular range of downhill ski runs for all abilities. The many nearby streams, rivers, ponds and reservoirs are fabulous for fishing, kayaking, skating, and swimming.
